Terms of Service
Effective Date: August 11, 2025
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SimpliMatch platform and services (collectively, the “Services”). SimpliMatch is a business service owned and operated by O&M VC LLC (“O&M VC,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using the Services—including visiting our website, applying for a co-signer, or listing a property—you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About SimpliMatch
SimpliMatch, a service of O&M VC LLC, provides rental application processing and co-signing solutions to assist:
• Tenants in qualifying for residential leases.
• Property managers/landlords in securing verified tenants with optional rent guarantee support.
SimpliMatch is not a lender, insurer, or property management company. We act solely as an intermediary platform to facilitate application processing, verification, and optional co-signing arrangements.
2. Eligibility
• Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements.
• Property Managers: You must represent a valid rental unit or a licensed property management entity.
3. Tenant Services
• Tenants may apply for a co-signer through SimpliMatch for a non-refundable flat fee of $69.
• Approval is subject to income verification, identity verification, and any additional landlord requirements.
• SimpliMatch is not responsible for landlord rejections based on factors outside our verification scope (including but not limited to criminal history, eviction history, or landlord-specific preferences).
4. Property Manager Services
• Property managers who list or screen tenants through SimpliMatch gain access to verified applicants and optional rent guarantee support.
• SimpliMatch does not charge property managers any fees for participation in the platform.
5. Payments & Billing
• Payment Authorization: By purchasing any tenant service, you authorize SimpliMatch (via Stripe) to charge your selected payment method.
• Processor: Stripe is our exclusive payment processor. Stripe securely handles all credit card transactions in accordance with its own terms of service: https://stripe.com/legal.
• Currency: All fees are charged in U.S. Dollars unless otherwise specified.
• Billing Accuracy: You are responsible for providing accurate billing and contact information.
• Payment Issues: SimpliMatch is not responsible for payment delays, errors, or disputes caused by Stripe’s platform.
6. No Refund Policy
All fees paid to SimpliMatch are non-refundable. Once an application is submitted and processing begins, the $69 service fee is considered fully earned, regardless of approval status or landlord decision.
7. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Submit false, inaccurate, or misleading information.
- Attempt to bypass SimpliMatch’s processes, security features, or verification methods.
- Misuse personal or confidential information of others.
Violation of these Terms may result in suspension of your account, denial of future service, and/or legal action.
8. Limitation of Liability
• SimpliMatch does not guarantee that every tenant will be approved by every landlord or that every rental transaction will be completed.
• We are not responsible for actions or decisions made by third parties, including landlords, employers, credit bureaus, or screening agencies.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, O&M VC LLC and SimpliMatch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services.
9. Governing Law & Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles, California.
10. Changes to These Terms
O&M VC LLC may update these Terms at any time. The revised Terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
